Hann Furnishing Ltd Terms and Conditions
All purchases must be paid in full before delivery.
The delivery charge is £49 for delivery within the central belt outside this, a price will have to be obtained from the delivery company, please note that assembly of wardrobes and other large items is not included in the delivery price (If you require this services please call us for full details and price). Collection can also be arranged on all orders once goods have arrived.
You must inspect all goods on delivery and advise us of any shortfalls or visible damage, we cannot accept any claim for damage where the product is not unwrapped and inspected at the time of delivery. Products that do not meet up customers expectations will only be returnable for an exchange at the company’s discretion.
3. Delivery dates
All delivery dates quoted at the time of your order are estimates. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that we honour estimated delivery dates, it is possible that circumstances beyond our control may cause delivery dates to be changed.
Ownership of goods shall remain with Hann Furnishing until the goods have been paid in full and goods have been delivered to your home.
We do have the facility to store your product for any length of time agreed at the time of purchases, once this period has come to an end we shall contact you, an extension to that period of time will be at the company’s discretion.
If upon two verbal attempts and one written attempt to contact you, with no response from yourself, the product will be returned to free stock, which means that it will be made available to other customers. In this case we cannot guarantee immediate product availability when you are ready to take the order.
6. Colours and finishes
Whilst every effort will be made to match all colours and finishes, goods are supplied on the understanding that there may be shade and grain variations, particularly with natural products such as wood. Due to the nature of solid wood, changes in relative humidity may cause some small movement in the timbers, great care has been taken to reduce the incidence of such occurrence, but by the very nature of the solid timbers the complete elimination is impossible. All our timbers are dried to beyond acceptable moisture contents. However wood is a natural fibre and can never be 100% guaranteed against small amounts of movement. It is extremely rare that the structural integrity of our furniture will be compromised. Leather products are made from quality hides and may not be uniform in colour or texture and will show natural marks and scars
All goods supplied are guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery in respect of faulty workmanship or materials. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
8. General care
The product(s) supplied are to be used for the purpose and in the manner for which they were designed. Most manufacturers include care and maintenance advice with their products, which should be read and followed. No responsibility will be accepted for damaged caused by cleaning if the care and maintenance instructions have not been followed. General day to day cleaning should be made with a virtually dry cloth NOT one that has a high water content as this shall damage the product(s). Please avoid furniture polishes such as Mr Sheen etc; this will dry out the timber.
9. Cancelling your order
Once products have been order the customer may be able to cancel their order for a full refund, but in most cases a binding contract with our suppliers has been made to supply or make your product. In this case, a cancellation will be at the discretion of the company and in most cases if approved the deposit paid will be lost to cover cancellations fees charged to us by suppliers.

Ordering from the Website
All purchases must be paid in full before delivery. We will continue to own, and reserve the right to repossess any goods sold from our web site until payment has been received and cleared in full. Payments are accepted on most credit or debit cards.
2. Terms of Sale
All purchases made are subject to these terms and conditions and they do not affect your statutory rights.
3. Returns Policy
3.1. You are entitled to a statutory cooling off period on orders placed on the internet, starting from the date you placed the order and ending 14 days after you received the goods.
3.2. You must inform us in writing by e mail during the cooling off period that you are cancelling the contract.
3.3. If you cancel the order and the goods have been dispatched and are on route to you, we may not be able to cancel the delivery. In this case, you are responsible for the goods when they are delivered. Keep them wrapped up in original packaging and make arrangements for them to be returned to us as soon as possible and in any event, within 30 days of delivery to you. Goods are refunded within 30 days less the cost of delivery and the collection fee applied at the same rate.
3.4. If the goods have been delivered to you and you cancel the order within 14 working days of delivery, you are responsible for them. You must make arrangements for them to be returned to us as soon as possible and in any event, within 30 days of delivery to you. All Products must be return in orginal packaging. When we receive the goods back in "as new" condition, we will refund the money you have paid less the cost of delivery and collection.
4. Care of Furniture
Due to the nature of solid wood, it changes in relative humidity may cause some small movement in the timbers, great care has been taken to reduce the incidence of such occurrence, however by the very nature of the solid timbers the complete elimination is impossible. All our timbers are dried to beyond acceptable moisture contents, However wood is a natural fibre and can never be 100% guaranteed against small amounts of movement. It is extremely rare that the structural integrity of our furniture will be compromised. Please avoid furniture polishes such as Mr Sheen etc, this will dry out the timbers. Please simply buff with a dry lint free cloth for best results, or use good quality wax.
We are sure you will be delighted with the quality and style of your furniture but if you need to return your items following delivery please inform us within 7 days from the date of delivery and our delivery team will collect the items to be returned at the next available opportunity (subject to a collection fee charged at the same rate as the delivery charge applied to your order).
Once the goods have been received back into our warehouse in unused condition you will be refunded via the original method of payment less the delivery and collection fee if applicable.
Goods collected from our warehouse should be returned to the warehouse within 7 days. We reserve the right to withhold part of your refund if goods are returned to us damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE A PROBLEM WITHIN 7 DAYS FOLLOWING DELIVERY
If you have a problem following delivery that was not noted by the driver or noticed at the time of delivery please contact us at email@example.com detailing the problem including your invoice details/order number and attach photographic evidence if possible, we will respond as soon as we can and in any instance within 2 working days.
If it is deemed that there is an obvious fault which has not been caused by misuse or damage after delivery we will offer a refund, discount or exchange to resolve the situation for you.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE A PROBLEM WITHIN THE FIRST TWELVE MONTHS FOLLOWING DELIVERY
If you have a problem please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org detailing the problem including your invoice details/order number and attach photographic evidence if possible, we will respond as soon as we can and in any instance within 2 working days.
If it is deemed that there is an obvious fault which has not been caused by misuse or damage after delivery we will offer a replacement or send out a furniture repair specialist.
The specialised furniture repair company they are fully trained in the care, repair and maintenance of wood and carry tools and materials on their van so repairs and repairs can be carried out on site.
Risk of damage to or loss of the products will pass to the buyer upon delivery, we therefore reserve the right to refuse the exchange or repair of an item deliberately damaged or misused following delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.
