These BBQ huts are available in 7, 10, 17 and 25 sq. metre sizes. Produced in high quality 45mm thick timber sourced from Lapland this quality timber sees only 6 months sun a year so is extremely slow growing therefore harder wearing, not to be confused with faster growing poor quality white pine sourced from Europe. Once the timber has been felled it sits for 10 years giving it more than sufficient time to settle to eliminate splits and warps in the finished hut before it is kiln dried and shipped to the UK to be used in the production of your hut. Exclusive to our models is the featured sloping walls which not only makes it more comfortable to sit against inside but greatly increases the roof height and the appearance of space allowing headroom off up to seven feet. |

The roof slats use wood running East to West using 30% more timber than the cheaper way to produce running the slats North to South. The floor is 100% timber, windows and doors double-glazed and 3 off the benches convert to beds allowing you to sleep in your hut. The BBQ its self is made from high grade steel, and if sold separately would retail at around £1500.00.The hood is fixed from the top and bottom meaning it does not need to be suspended by chains which would reduce your movement in your hut. The roof tiles are half bitumen backed and when used in Lapland have a 40-year guarantee. The whole unit weighs 1.6 tons, double the weight of cheaper produced white pine models. The huts are best sited on top of a concrete base with a vent pipe installed underneath to allow the fire to “draw”. You can also install on top off decking or mono block or other suitable surfaces. In short you are purchasing an entertainment area, dinning room and sleeping area, never to be caught out by our Scottish weather. |
